When this Privacy Policy applies

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies whenever Perichora / Perichora Leaders (which are trading names of Dasein Privacy Limited and are referred to in this Policy as “Perichora”, “we” or “us”) processes any personal information about you—for example, by collecting, using, storing or disclosing it to others. It describes how and why we process your personal information and the rights you can exercise in relation to it.

Contact us

If you have any questions or complaints concerning Perichora's processing of your personal information, wish to exercise any of your data protection rights, or otherwise wish to raise a data protection concern with us, please contact us by sending an email to info@perichoraleaders.com.

About Perichora's personal data processing

Perichora collects and processes the following categories of personal information for the following reasons:

  • Clients and prospects — We process names, contact details, financial information (for example, payment details), the nature of the services required and any other contextual information a client provides for the purpose of contracting with us. This may include personal data relating to third parties, such as information contained in background materials submitted as part of mediation services. Clients may need, or choose, to provide personal information that is considered “sensitive” or “special category data” under applicable data protection laws in order to obtain consultancy or mediation services. This may include information about an individual’s health, race or ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, sex life or sexual orientation, genetic data or biometric data.

  • Why: We use this information to contact individuals who may wish to work with Perichora and to contract with our clients. If individuals subscribe to marketing communications from Perichora, we may also use their contact details to send those communications.

  • Lawful basis under the EU/UK GDPR: When we process personal information to provide our services, we rely on compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests. Where we process sensitive or special category data to provide our services, we will do so only where permitted by data protection law—for example, where the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or where we have explicit consent. When we process personal information to send marketing communications, we rely on consent.

  • Website visitors — Our website servers may automatically receive certain information about your device, including your IP address, browser type, device type and similar technical information.

  • Why: We use this information to ensure that our website is displayed correctly. We may use website analytics tools including Google analytics - see Cookies.

  • Lawful basis under the EU/UK GDPR: We rely on our legitimate interests when processing this information to display our website correctly.

  • Business partners and other third parties — Perichora works with vendors and other contacts to operate its services. In addition, clients may disclose information about third parties when working with Perichora. The specific personal information that Perichora receives is determined solely by the client and may include personal information that is considered “sensitive” or “special category data” under applicable data protection laws.

  • Why: We use this information to operate our business and provide services to our clients.

International transfers of personal information

Although we are based in the UK, some of the service providers we use may be based in countries outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. This means that the personal information Perichora processes may, in some cases, be transferred to and processed by our service providers in non-UK and non-EEA countries.

Where possible, we use service providers established in countries recognised by the relevant UK and EU authorities as providing adequate protection for personal information. Where this is not possible, we implement appropriate safeguards with our service providers in accordance with data protection law. These safeguards may include the International Data Transfer Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement issued by the UK Information Commissioner, and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Data retention

We retain personal information collected from you for as long as we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so—for example, to provide a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements. When we no longer have an ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymise it. If this is not possible—for example, because it is stored in backup archives—we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

Your data protection rights

You have the following data protection rights:

  • If you wish to access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal information, you can do so at any time by emailing info@perichora.com.

  • You can object to the processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict its processing, or request its portability. You can exercise these rights by emailing info@daseinprivacy.com.

  • You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you. Perichora does not ordinarily make any such automated decisions.

  • You have the right to opt out of marketing communications from us at any time. You can exercise this right by clicking the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” link in the marketing emails we send you, or by emailing info@perichora.com.

  • Where we process your personal information with your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing based on lawful grounds other than consent.

  • You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority. Contact details for the ICO, the UK’s data protection authority, are available here. Contact details for data protection authorities in the European Economic Area are available here.
